Wood Harmony

Wood Harmony is an interior design project for a four-story villa with a gross floor area of 1100 square meters. The design covers both the outdoor garden and the indoor living spaces. Light-hued wood runs throughout the interior, while grids and squares create a layered visual effect. A stone bar and cave-like entrance columns add a sense of weight, and a spiral staircase extends the spatial concept. Serpentine House Residence

Serpentine House

The architectural gesture of a long L shaped flowing form along the two main edges of the site seeks to create a threshold between the surrounding scenery and the resulting negative, a courtyard of similar scale to the building footprint. This fluid form narrows and widens to create tension with the enclosed courtyard but is rigid along the perimeter of the site, forming a well-defined edge. The building form stretches through a series of large pergolas to cover parts of the courtyard and to create a rather staged sequence of closed, open and semi open spaces.

House of Light Well Residence

House of Light Well

House of Light Well is a residential interior design for a row house about 30 meters long. The original building is divided into front and rear sections by a central light well. The light well is transformed into a core space similar to an outdoor square, and all rooms are reached through it. An open staircase wraps around the light well, and multi-level platforms hold areas for reading, work, fitness, children's play and entertainment. A tree stands at the center. Glass brick walls and stepped terraces add privacy and reduce street noise.

Illuminated Symphony Residence

Illuminated Symphony

Illuminated Symphony is a residential interior design of about 165 square meters. The layout was reorganized to reduce enclosed areas and to move the living and dining spaces, creating a larger public area for gatherings. Gray glass, stone slabs and carefully placed lighting shape the interior. A gray glass sliding door separates the dining room from the study and lets daylight pass between them. A curved ceiling with indirect lighting reduces the visual effect of structural beams. In the master bedroom, a gray glass partition divides the bed area and the dressing room.
