Wood Harmony
Wood Harmony is an interior design project for a four-story villa with a gross floor area of 1100 square meters. The design covers both the outdoor garden and the indoor living spaces. Light-hued wood runs throughout the interior, while grids and squares create a layered visual effect. A stone bar and cave-like entrance columns add a sense of weight, and a spiral staircase extends the spatial concept. Bedrooms use deep wooden tones, and the bathrooms feature rough stone textures that recall mountains. The aim is a calm home in harmony with nature.
Wood Harmony Residence by Xiaojun Hu was recognized as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Wood Harmony Residence won the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design prize which celebrates outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
