Chiao Ho
Chiao Ho is a restaurant interior located in Shanghai and completed in June 2019. The space covers 1700 square meters. Guests enter through a glass door with a golden frame, and an arc-shaped route leads into the dining area. Bordeaux red walls form the standard color of the restaurant. Artworks are placed throughout the interior, including a female statue at the Chiao section and a male statue at the Ho section. Images of betta fish are scattered across the space. Culture and art are combined to offer a refined dining experience.
Chiao Ho Restaurant by Min Yun Chao was featured as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Chiao Ho Restaurant earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade which recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
