Linglong
Shimu is a residential interior design for a penthouse on the shore of Jinji Lake in Suzhou. The renovated area is 470 square meters. The main hall opens to a south facing panoramic window, so sunlight enters easily and the lake and the green planting come into view. A glass panel of 6.6 by 2.5 meters was lifted and installed to widen the view. A minimalist fireplace marks the main room. The living room, the dining room and the western kitchen are joined in one open space. Floor and ceiling share a single material for visual simplicity.
Linglong Interior Space by JIN WANG has been featured as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Linglong Interior Space earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020.
