Caishi
Caishi China Railway City is a residential complex built in Jinan, China. The design follows a new Chinese style that joins classical order and proportion with modern function. Local features such as swallow tail ridges, gable heads and lattice walls are reinterpreted in a simple form, and the colours stay calm and quiet. Polycarbonate panels are used for the roof decoration boards, which allows slender supporting members. A four constant air system controls indoor air quality, temperature and humidity. The layout follows the existing terrain to limit earthworks.
Caishi Residential Area by Tengyuan Design has been selected as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Caishi Residential Area received the Silver A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2020. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade which recognizes superior design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
