Yum Rob
Yum Rob is a themed smart restaurant in Hengshui City. The interior covers 450 square meters and follows a modern and simple style. The entrance uses a circular arc taken from the brand robot image, framed by mirror stainless steel. Mirror surfaces on three sides of the inner corridor create an immersive passage. Colored light strips and optical fiber lights on the ceiling shape the visual atmosphere. The waiting area has stepped seats that guide movement and hold more guests. A panoramic projection completes the dining environment.
Yum Rob Restaurant by Zhidong Du has been selected as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Yum Rob Restaurant won the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition which recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
