We Share Public Welfare Architecture

We Share

We Share Micro Nest is a pair of small public welfare buildings created as shared city furniture in Qingdao. The Reading House uses a rotated square timber frame, where native wood forms both the structure and the outer skin, and has a building area of 16.8 square meters. The rest station for sanitation workers is based on a cube with two panels that open inward and outward, and the shell is clad in colorful aluminum plate. Both structures make public resources easier to share and invite residents to take part in community life.

We Share Public Welfare Architecture by Tengyuan Design was highlighted as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. We Share Public Welfare Architecture received the Golden A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2020. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize that celebrates excellent design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
