Essence of Exorbitance

Essence of Exorbitance is a residential apartment interior in Taoyuan, Taiwan, covering 209.6 square meters. The entryway is finished with kosmus marble, and the floor is made of three-dimensional concrete panels with a rough texture. In the living and dining area, a marble television wall suggests the form of a waving sea. The wall cabinet doors carry a hand-painted rose image in beige kiln lacquer. Titanium sheets and gold-lacquered cabinets balance the colors and add storage. The master bedroom includes hidden storage for daily needs.

Essence of Exorbitance Residential Apartment by Fu Ying Huang has been selected as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Essence of Exorbitance Residential Apartment was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design competition that rewards superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
