Verdurous Home
Verdurous Home is a residential interior design created for a family of five in Taichung, Taiwan. The property covers 445 square meters. Plant walls, more commonly used in commercial spaces, extend the vertical scale of the rooms and enliven the atmosphere. One plant wall forms a transition before the main living area on the second floor, where blue sofas, a carpet and a painting repeat the green tones. Wood and stone give a calm mood. The upper floors hold the private rooms around a sunlit central staircase.
Verdurous Home Residential Apartment by Chien-Neng Chang was identified as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Verdurous Home Residential Apartment won the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program that recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
