Sun Bathed Greenery
Sun Bathed Greenery is a residential interior design completed in Hsinchu County, Taiwan. The home follows a minimalist approach, with a black, beige and grey color scheme and no superfluous decoration. Large windows bring in natural light and frame the view of a green park in front of the building. An original partition wall was removed, so the study and the living room remain connected and sunlight reaches the whole interior. Materials include steel-brushed timber veneer, special paint, marble-patterned artificial masonry slate, imported tiles and black metalwork.
Sun Bathed Greenery Residence by Derson Chiu has been identified as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Sun Bathed Greenery Residence earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design competition that honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
