The Crown Lounge

The Crown

The Crown is a lounge set on the 25th floor and rooftop of a hotel in Hong Kong. The interior covers 6000 square feet across two levels of 3000 square feet each. The main level holds a bar, a performance stage, a seating lounge and velvet booths. A curved grand hallway leads to private rooms and to a balcony with a skyline view. The rooftop terrace offers a quieter setting. The design follows the Art Deco style and uses marble, glass and metal inlays. Curved mirrors were fitted to align with the marble pieces and the inlays.

The Crown Lounge by Karson Liu has been recognized as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. The Crown Lounge earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award which recognizes superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
