Slow Living Residence

Slow Living

Slow Living is a residential interior design located in New Taipei City, Taiwan. The interior covers about 460 square meters and includes three bedroom suites, a living room, a dining room, an open island bench, an inner kitchen, a study and a rumpus room. The public areas are joined into one open and connected living space. Arches and changes of material separate the areas without closed walls. Materials include black sandalwood veneer, mirror, titanium plating, masonry flooring and hand-scratched timber flooring. The layout supports family gatherings and quiet reading.

Slow Living Residence by Sung-Po Lin has been recognized as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Slow Living Residence won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade which rewards superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
