Natural Flavor
Natural Flavor is a residential interior design for a 158 square meter apartment. The home includes a living room, dining room, kitchen, light bar, open study room, three bedrooms and two washrooms. Natural materials such as engineered flooring, wood blocks, retro bricks and marble create a loft style close to nature. A wall was removed to open the public area, so sunlight enters from three directions. A 45 degree beveled design turns a wasted corner into storage. All doors reach ceiling height to widen and extend the view.
Natural Flavor Residence by Ying Li Cheng has been recognized as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Natural Flavor Residence won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize that honors excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
