Love Symbol
Love Symbol is a residential interior design for a 150 square feet home in Taipei, Taiwan. The main wall of the living room is made of natural marble with gradient colors that recall oriental ink painting landscapes. The stone wall extends into the hallway. Behind the main wall, a Buddha hall displays calligraphy drawn by the father of the family. Wood is used on the ceiling to add warmth and to link the public and private areas. The public area is semi-open and receives natural light. The design keeps the memory and sentiment of the family.
Love Symbol Residential Space by Chen Chin-Shu has been recognized as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards.
