Run Science Park
Run Science Park is a science and technology park in Guangzhou. The complex covers 120000 square meters and joins office space, exhibition areas and flexible areas. Seventy-five percent of the space is used for offices, five percent for flexible use, five percent for exhibitions and fifteen percent for mixed use. The structure is lifted off the ground and uses interlocking and shifting forms. A sunken plaza brings daylight to the lower levels. Glass, aluminum panels and paint form the facade. The design creates an open and connected shared community.
Run Science Park Guangzhou by Atelier Global Limited has been identified as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Run Science Park Guangzhou earned the Iron A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2020. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design accolade that recognizes outstanding design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
