CHI Design
CHI Office is a workspace created inside an old house in HsinZhu, Taiwan. The original building had uneven ceilings and floors and disorderly compartments. Solid walls were removed and the interior areas were divided again. Windows on four sides bring daylight into the space. Iron cabinets and a wide metal display shelf separate the office from the reception area without solid walls. The floor is paved with gray artesian cement. Stone, metal and titanium plated details are combined with wood and planting to create a calm and open working atmosphere.
CHI Design Office by Benson Wu was featured as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. CHI Design Office earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2019. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design award that recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
