BSG Residential Villa
BSG Villas is a residential villa designed as an example of contemporary architecture. The roof is fully covered with solar panels that produce the energy needed by the household. The roof shape also allows rain and snow water to be collected in storage units, which serve as the main bearings of the building. The steel structure rests on three bearing bases, so the impact on the soil is reduced. The villa stands 6 metres above the ground and reaches 23.80 metres at the apex. An ornamental pool below is visible through a partly glass floor.
BSG Residential Villa Residential Villa by Murat Gedik was selected as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. BSG Residential Villa Residential Villa won the Bronze A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2016. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade which honors superior design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
