First Bloom
First Bloom is a residential interior design for a family home in Taiwan. The interior of 171.9 square meters contains four rooms, a living room and a dining room. The social area forms the core of the home, with looped circulation around the living room and the kitchen island. A grounded cabinet provides storage, display and concealment, while a curved television wall integrates niches and indirect lighting. Warm wood veneer, soft white surfaces, rattan and travertine counters were chosen for durability and easy maintenance.
First Bloom Residence by Tsai's Design was highlighted as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. First Bloom Residence won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition which celebrates superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
