Burk Residence
Burk Residence is a private cottage interior design created for a lakefront site in Ontario, Canada. The single-storey retreat contains eight bedrooms and six bathrooms, with twelve-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the forest and the lake. Timber construction and premium finishes support year-round use in a remote setting. A large deck with a canopy, a sauna, a gym and a cinema extend the living areas. The layout guides guests smoothly between quiet rooms, wellness spaces and outdoor gathering areas.
Burk Residence Cottage Interior Design by Nargiza Usmanova was identified as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Burk Residence Cottage Interior Design earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade which rewards excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
