Wabi Sabi Beauty
Wabi Sabi Beauty is a residential interior design for a newly built home of 66 square meters in Taipei. The layout was changed from three rooms into a master bedroom, an open study and a walk-in closet, which enlarged the shared living areas. A white backdrop makes the interior feel more spacious. Decorative paint imitates the grain of stone wall panels and adds a natural texture. The open study connects to the living room and includes a large screen television. The kitchen holds an island, appliances and a wine rack.
Wabi Sabi Beauty Residential by Lo Shih-Cheng was featured as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Wabi Sabi Beauty Residential received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize that honors superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
