Clarity Motion
Clarity in Slow Motion is a residential interior design of about 304 square meters in Miaoli, Taiwan. The home follows a minimalist Scandinavian approach, with soft colors and visible wood grain. Wooden louvered curtains adjust light and airflow and define spatial layers. Public areas use a grid pattern of wooden flooring that also absorbs sound. A solid wood staircase in South American teak connects the two floors and is built without metal supports, secured with dowels and nails. Ventilation ducts and breathable components reduce moisture.
Clarity Motion Residence by Kuo Ching Ho has been highlighted as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Clarity Motion Residence received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize which celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
