Get
Get Space is an architectural lighting design for a commercial complex in Huangpu Science City, Guangzhou, China. The scheme uses LED luminaires and narrow-beam spotlights with dynamic controls, so each zone receives illumination suited to its function. Embedded spotlights, linear accents and vertical lighting follow the stacked box facade. A colour temperature of 4000K is used for the exteriors and 3000K for pedestrian areas. Motion sensors and dimming reduce energy use by up to 30 percent during off-peak hours. Anti-glare shields limit light spill toward nearby homes.
Get Space by Xinxing Wu has been recognized as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Get Space received the Golden A' Design Award in Architectural Lighting in 2025. The A' Architectural Lighting Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program that rewards superior design of architectural lighting, architectural illumination, architecture lighting projects, architectural light projections, landscape illumination, architectural light art and more.
