Mirabilis Bar and Dusk
Mirabilis Bar and Dusk is an interior design project for a hilltop restaurant and bar set within the national park of Mount Faber. The space is divided into two focal sections. Dusk serves as the dining area, and The Mirabilis Bar serves as the lounge area. Both areas open toward seafront and city views. The project also includes an expanded professional kitchen and a members-only cigar room. The concept is drawn from Mirabilis Jalapa, a cluster of fragrant flowers that blooms in the afternoon, matching the opening hour of the venue.
Mirabilis Bar and Dusk Lounges and Bars by Lau Chun Hoong was identified as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Mirabilis Bar and Dusk Lounges and Bars received the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade that celebrates superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
