Satin Hair
Satin Hair is a Korean-style hair salon in Taiwan. The interior covers 198.3 square meters on two floors and includes a waiting area, a hairdressing area, a hair washing area, a bar area, a rest area and a meeting room. A glass door and floor-to-ceiling windows make the space bright and open. A large oval lighting fixture marks the center of the hairdressing area. White painted iron parts form an interlocking mesh over the curved logo wall. Terrazzo flooring, warm wood grain and beige gray tones create a calm and soft atmosphere.
Satin Hair Salon by Chiun Ju interior design was highlighted as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Satin Hair Salon earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design prize which honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
