Unbounded
Unbounded is an executive office interior designed for a corporate chairman. The space combines office work, reception, meetings, tea drinking, collection display, resting and fish keeping within one multifunctional setting. Fixed partitions are replaced by ceiling materials and functional bars that define areas while keeping the plan open. Mirrors and stainless steel are used for durability and for their reflective quality, which visually extends the space. The design moves away from enclosed traditional offices and supports easy movement between activities.
Unbounded Office by Kris Lin was highlighted as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Unbounded Office was awarded the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize which recognizes excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
