Luffy Leathers
The retail interior design project aims to offer a uniquely private shopping experience in a mall. The design showcases a fusion of elements and natural traditional materials, with a sophisticated monochromatic palette, notably a bespoke ceiling composition, curved displays meticulously crafted to reflect leather tensile characteristics, adaptable shelving units tailored to accommodate varying product displays, and embedded floor barcodes representing the digital era, complemented by mechanical product package transitions, providing a new shopping experience for visitors.
Luffy Leathers Store by Ali Bazzi has been identified as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Luffy Leathers Store won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade that honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
