Opulence
Opulence is an office interior that joins an open workspace with a lounge inspired by hotel reception areas. The three-storey space covers 4000 square feet and occupies a renovated thirty-year-old house in Penang, Malaysia. A new indoor staircase connects all three floors. An oval reception desk greets visitors, and a small meeting room behind the desk allows private talks. The ceiling is made of plywood covered with black-plated mirror stainless steel plates. Direct, indirect and recessed lighting modes suit both work and rest.
Opulence Workspace by Ben Chiaro Interior Design was featured as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design award which recognizes superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
