Shanghai Donggang Chengfu

Shanghai Donggang Chengfu is a bed and breakfast interior located on Changxing Island in Shanghai. The design theme is nature and simplicity. Soft and earthy colours are combined with wood, rattan, fabric, raw stone, art paint and custom coloured tiles. White and wood tones, warm lighting and subtle textures create a calm atmosphere. The dining room combines Chinese and Mediterranean elements. A family room, a children area with an ocean theme and a terrace with a stargazing platform serve the varied needs of residents.

Shanghai Donggang Chengfu Residential Interior Design by Light and Shadow Design was featured as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Shanghai Donggang Chengfu Residential Interior Design earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition which recognizes excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
