In Generations
In Generations is a residential interior design created for an extended family in Taiwan. The home covers 301 square meters and joins two units on the same floor. The living room and dining room are merged to enlarge the shared social area. The marble floor of the foyer shows circles, peonies, fish and algae. The walls carry gilt patterns that recall Chinese window lattices, and the same motif continues in the wood lines of the ceiling and in the round walnut dining table. Black lines and titanium plating trace the edges of the space.
In Generations Residence by GT-SPACE INTERIOR DESIGN CO., LTD. has been recognized as a grand illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. In Generations Residence was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade that celebrates superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
