Cote d'Azur
Cote d'Azur is a residential apartment interior located on a high floor in Taiwan. Color and gentle curves recall the romantic character of the French Cote d'Azur. A natural gray scale forms the base tone, and blue is used as the theme color. Mirrored ceilings and linear elements extend the open hall and increase the apparent height. Crystal bars are arranged into an arc of light that echoes sparkling waves. Full spectrum lighting simulates natural light and shadow, while the mirrored ceiling hides wiring and lamp holders.
Cote d'Azur Residential Apartment by Fang Ming Lo was identified as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Cote d'Azur Residential Apartment won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition that rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
