THIDAMOON
A room where you can see the huge rock Tategami, which has been worshiped as a place where gods stop by before landing on the island from the sea, and has been an object of worship. Designers created a room that can only be felt here by using materials that can only be obtained on the island as interior materials. The interior of the guest room is made using sea sand and coral collected from the sea of Amami Oshima.
THIDAMOON HOTEL by Go Fujita has been featured as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. THIDAMOON HOTEL earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade that celebrates superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
