Bosque
Bosque is a residential building in Curitiba, Brazil, arranged over four floors. The ground floor holds an open-plan living area, dining room and kitchen, where sliding doors bring natural light and garden views inside. Three suites face north on the upper floor, and the rooftop contains an office, a television room and an outdoor jacuzzi. Skylights above the master bathroom and the stairs add daylight and ventilation. Precast concrete slabs with lightweight polystyrene blocks allow wide spaces without columns. Solar panels and a water cistern support daily use.
Bosque Residential Building by Larissa Garbers has been identified as a grand representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Bosque Residential Building won the Bronze A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2024. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design prize which recognizes exceptional design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
