Inner Vastness
Inner Vastness is a residential interior design for a 112.3 square meter home in Taiwan. The layout includes two bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, an indoor garden and two bathrooms. An open plan forms the public area, while a curved plan shapes the indoor garden, which echoes the light from the windows. A glass screen separates the garden from the public area. Ventilation and natural light are emphasized, and an exhaust system guides air to all corners. Patio lights supplement the entrance area. Materials include iron, glass and tile.
Inner Vastness Residence by Noverta Chou was selected as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Inner Vastness Residence was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design recognition program that honors superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
