Taipei 101 Observatory Entry Plaza Lobby

Taipei 101 Observatory Entry Plaza

Taipei 101 Observatory Entry Plaza is a lobby on the fifth floor of the Taipei 101 building in Taipei. The plaza is the entry point for visitors to the observatory on the eighty-eighth floor. The space supports waiting, photography, shopping and exhibition, and includes souvenir shops and a cafe. Curved LED walls show videos of Taiwan landscapes. Light plates hanging from the ceiling represent the topography of Taiwan. The wall lights are carved with family names in traditional characters. The front desk is made of green marble and shaped to resemble Jade Mountain.
