Bounteous Mind and Life
Bounteous Mind and Life is a retail interior design located in Xindian, New Taipei City, Taiwan. A three-floor apartment building was renovated into a meditation space open to the public. The design draws on Japanese aesthetics of shadow, tea ceremony and temple culture. Elongated lines and the scent of tea stimulate the senses and create a calm atmosphere. A vertical route leads visitors through layered spaces that reflect different states of life. The project covers 380 square meters and was completed in February 2022.
Bounteous Mind and Life Retail Design by Journey Architecture Creative Group has been highlighted as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Bounteous Mind and Life Retail Design earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade that recognizes superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
