Beyond Limits
Beyond Limits is a five floor residential interior design located in Changhua, Taiwan. Each floor is given a different style, so the house reads as five separate projects. Eastern and western influences are combined with vintage and modern elements in a cohesive way. Arch walls break the fixed limits of the rooms and add elegant flowing lines. Natural stone, wood veneer, iron pieces, titanium plated surfaces, baking paint and patterned wall coverings form the material palette. Hidden wall storage balances function and appearance.
Beyond Limits Residential by Kai Shi Wang has been highlighted as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Beyond Limits Residential was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design prize which recognizes excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
