H Home
H Home is a residential interior design created for a family of five in Taiwan. The wall between the kitchen, the dining room and the living room was removed so that the public areas are connected. Sliding doors of stainless steel woven mesh and moru glass mark the boundaries and keep the facade movable. Steel stone flooring is used in the public area and hand-scraped wood flooring in the private rooms. Chandeliers of oxidized copper add warmth to the cool metallic tones, while natural light on the mesh reveals the texture of the metal.
H Home Residential by Hung Yu Chen has been recognized as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. H Home Residential received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition that honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
