Jining Sunac 1917
Jining Sunac 1917 is an art museum interior with an area of 1360 square meters. The design takes the history of Shantui as its theme and follows the idea of time to connect the spaces. Visitors first enter an area named Time Casting, which is arranged like a time tunnel. The Time Shuttle installation is formed by 1917 colored lines that shape light through gradual changes. A memory art wall is built from old lathes, production parts and utensils. The interior links local industrial history with a modern and minimalist aesthetic.
Jining Sunac 1917 Art Museum by Yunfei Jiang was featured as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Jining Sunac 1917 Art Museum was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition that recognizes excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
