Dongguan Riverside
The project is located in Xincheng District, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, China. It is a sports center that integrates residents' cultural activities, healthy sports, and livable waterfront life from multiple angles. The vision of the project is to turn the green sports center into a natural oxygen bar on the corner of the city, integrating fitness, sports, parking, and transportation hubs into one. Dissolve the building volume, integrate the landscape into life, and make the design deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.
Dongguan Riverside Sports Center by Peng Xiaohua, Chen Qi, Deng Juan has been featured as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Dongguan Riverside Sports Center received the Silver A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2023. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is a highly prestigious international design competition which honors exceptional design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
