Ridge Room
The Ridge Room is a restaurant and rooftop lounge located on the top floor of a hotel. The interior is influenced by local hunting cabins and ski chalets. The dining area features brass tables with rustic oak seating and wide glass windows. An opening glass wall system connects the lounge directly to the patio, which offers views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. A custom fireplace, antler chandeliers and a painted mural warm the lounge. Back-lit rainbow onyx slabs and a zinc countertop define the bar. Added soundproofing protects the guest rooms below.
Ridge Room Restaurant and Rooftop Lounge by Hans Kline has been featured as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Ridge Room Restaurant and Rooftop Lounge won the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition which honors superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
