Evian Valley
Evian Valley is the interior design of a single villa of 800 square meters. The staircase was moved from the closed north side to the south side, where daylight enters. The revolving staircase opens the plan and connects the levels. Glass windows along the building link the interior with the mountain scenery outside. The main materials are dyed veneer, rock board and latex paint. Calm colors and simple finishes are used in the master bedroom. The whole layout follows the path of light through the day.
Evian Valley Residential House by Nanjing Matilian Space Design has been identified as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award.
