Dawning
Dawning is a residential interior design for a 20-ping apartment in Taiwan. The palette is based on black, white and gray, and silver metallic surfaces add a technological character. In the public area, gray flooring and a gray television wall set the main tone, while black cabinets provide display and storage. Arc-shaped shelves, tabletops and cabinet doors soften the cool space. The original three-bedroom layout was rearranged into two bedrooms by merging the master bedroom with a dressing room.
Dawning Residential by Wu Wan Yu has been identified as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Dawning Residential earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade which celebrates outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
