Longcheer Hotel
Longcheer Hotel is a seaside hotel building in Shenzhen, China. The design follows a long and narrow coastal site with a 470-meter coastline, and the terraces are combined with the surrounding mountains and sea. The main volume is set below the level of the urban road, so only four small pavilions rise to street level, spaced 40 meters apart, keeping the sea view open for people passing by. On the facade, every two room balconies form a rectangular cell. Silver-white aluminum panels and double-layer frosted glass with built-in lighting complete the units.
Longcheer Hotel Hospitality by Zhubo Design has been featured as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Longcheer Hotel Hospitality earned the Silver A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2022. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design accolade that celebrates excellent design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
