AC by Marriott
AC Hotel by Marriott is a hotel interior design project in Krakow, set beside Blonia Park and close to the city center. The scheme covers 2200 square meters of common areas and 20000 square meters of guest room areas, with 300 rooms, three dining rooms and seven conference rooms. The interiors use earth colors, browns and beiges with light golden accents, combined with grays and wood. Art, local craft and greenery are present throughout. Tree sculptures are placed in dedicated spots and sometimes integrated into the walls.
AC by Marriott Common Areas by Magdalena Federowicz-Boule has been highlighted as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. AC by Marriott Common Areas earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize which honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
