Barry Callebaut
Barry Callebaut is a corporate headquarters interior located in Zurich, Switzerland. The office occupies three floors of a business centre building and covers 3800 square metres. A chocolate academy with a professionally equipped kitchen sits at the centre of the plan behind glazed walls, so employees and visitors can watch chocolatiers at work. Three hubs on each floor are linked by internal staircases and serve as coffee points for breaks and informal meetings. Wood, cork, moss and safflower wallpaper create a tactile setting, and oxygen generating plants support a healthy work environment.
Barry Callebaut Headquarters by Evolution Design has been recognized as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Barry Callebaut Headquarters was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design award which rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
