Jstone Italian Kitchen and Bar
Jstone Italian Kitchen and Bar is a restaurant interior located in the Dongjiadu area of Shanghai. The site stands near the first Catholic church in the city, where Chinese and Western cultures have long blended. The design follows the concept of sailing through the East and the West. The space draws on the classical Shikumen architecture of traditional Shanghai neighborhoods and is reshaped with Art Deco details. Materials include bronze stainless steel, Ariston marble, black galaxy marble, walnut veneer and leather. The refined result reflects a contemporary Shanghai style.
Jstone Italian Kitchen and Bar Restaurant by Yifan He has been selected as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Jstone Italian Kitchen and Bar Restaurant earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022.
