Whyte Woolf
Whyte Woolf is a fitness club interior in Xi'an, China. The club covers 2,300 square meters inside a large mixed-use commercial complex. The design contrasts references to ancient Eastern culture with modern Western industrial culture. Colors of the ceiling, floor, walls and furniture are kept unified to form a single strong visual impression. Materials include eco-friendly latex paint, mirror stainless steel, natural composite wood flooring and mosaic glazed brick. The layout was developed through site survey and three-dimensional modeling.
Whyte Woolf Fitness Club by Arthur Yang has been featured as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Whyte Woolf Fitness Club received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize that celebrates superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
