Cat Wonderland
Cat Wonderland is a residential interior design for an apartment shared by one owner and five cats. The 116 square meter home holds two bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, two bathrooms, a kitchen and a storeroom. A cat cave, a litter area and a jumping platform are placed along the passages. Soft materials and tones of milk tea, beige, earth and wood create a calm mood. Colorful terrazzo with engravings of five cats marks the entryway. Wooden grooves shape the television wall. A dimming system adjusts the light in each room.
Cat Wonderland Residential House by JTS Interior Design has been identified as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Cat Wonderland Residential House won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize which rewards superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
