Love Veggie
Love Veggie is a vegetarian restaurant interior located in Macau, covering about 350 square meters. The design brings a well known local tradition into a contemporary setting. The concept is based on the lotus, a form closely linked to Buddhism. Lotus images are translated into materials, patterns and forms. Laser cut gold color metal creates lotus patterns, while smooth blue upholstery and wood veneer add a natural and elegant character. A custom made feature light forms the main element of the space. The interior is intended to create a calm atmosphere.
Love Veggie Restaurant by Ting Fai Chu was featured as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Love Veggie Restaurant earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award that celebrates superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
