Shimmer
Shimmer is a residential interior design for a 115 square meter home with four rooms in Taipei. White is used as the main theme, while wooden masonry flooring brings a warm and tranquil feeling. An open plan preserves the sense of space. A glass partition divides the study area and keeps a wide visual effect. Glass tiles are applied on both sides of the partition. Curved edges at the corners soften straight lines, and each element echoes a grid. Materials include leather-textured laminate, glass tiles and stoneware flooring.
Shimmer Residential by Chiyan Interior Design was recognized as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Shimmer Residential was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade that honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
